Havering Talented 30: Scarlett Folan

We are really excited to announce that Ascension Eagles, and Team England silver medalist Scarlett Folan has been selected as one of the London Borough of Havering's most talented young people!

The annual awards ceremony, part of the 2012 Olympic and Para Olympic legacy, celebrates the gifts of young people in a variety of fields. Scarlett's recognition comes from her international success as a Team England athlete, and contributions made to her domestic club, AEC.

She received a certificate and a £250 cash prize that can be used to help improve the facility in which she trains. We are very grateful to Scarlett and so proud her hard work has been celebrated- she more than deserves it.
